The 2nd race of the Camping World Truck Series at Atlanta Motor Speedway was as exciting as always. With tons of lead changes, the race was intense. The caution clock made huge leads less prominent, and a caution clock actually came out. Christoper Bell had another good race this weekend as a rookie. He started 3rd, and led a majority of the race. After his front right tire went flat at around the halfway point of the race, he fell deep into the pack. He was able to run his way back up to the top, and pass John Hunter Nemechek for the lead. Bell was leading with one to go, but his right tire went flat again, causing him to hit the outside wall at full speed, ending his race, and giving Nemechek the win. Bell has endured to hard crashes in his first two races in this series. Here are the race results: The number in parentheses is the driver's starting position 1. (18) John Hunter Nemechek 2.
