Prediction for the Sprint Unlimited: It is going to be a close race, but I believe that Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Matt Kenseth, Brad Keselowski, and Danica Patrick will be the top five. Dale Earnhardt Jr.:
- Average finish of 16.1 (18.3 at Daytona)
- Won the 2004 Daytona 500
- Got second at the 2001, 2010, 2012, and 2013 Daytona 500
Jimmie Johnson:
- He is just coming off a championship and would love to get a win here
- He won the Sprint Unlimited (at that time the Budweiser Shootout) in 2005
- He won the 2013 Daytona 500
Matt Kenseth:
- He nearly won the championship last year and is ready to win it this year
- He had seven wins last year
- He won the Daytona 500 in 2009, and 2012
Brad Keselowski:
- Has won at Daytona before
- Has a career average finish of 16.2 (21.0 at Daytona)
- In 161 starts he was 10 wins, 33 top 5s, and 59 top 10s
Danica Patrick:
- Won the pole at the 2013 Daytona 500
- Has a career best finish at Daytona (8th at the 2013 Daytona 500)
