Steve Letarte is the Crew Chief for the number 88 team. (Dale Earnhardt Jr.) Steve Letarte announced in the pre season that he wasn't going to be coming back in 2015. Letarte is going to move to NBC after the 2014 season to become an announcer for them. He will be an announcer when NBC will have NASCAR races in 2015. Steve Letarte told Jr. that his goal for this season is to win races and hopefully a championship. I'm sure his last Daytona 500 race ended in a great way with his first and last Daytona 500 win. Letarte is the youngest crew chief in NASCAR at 34. Our hopes and wishes go out to Steve Letarte on his final season in NASCAR.
