He has said that he will be part time for 2014, but he doesn't know with which car. The #31 car [Richard Childress Racing] has been taken by Ryan Newman. Burton could go to the #78 car, [Furniture Row Racing] but this car will most likely go to Juan Pablo Montoya. Hopefully he can get a ride with a team that only has 1, 2, or 3 cars. Wood Brother's Racing could get another car, but more likely to get a 2nd car would be JTG Daugherty Racing. (They own the #47 car which was driven by Bobby Labonte, but will now be driven by AJ Allmendinger) Hopefully we wont have to say goodbye to this priceless legend - Jeff Burton. | |
