Why is Danica Patrick in the Sprint Cup? What does Tony Stewart think about her?
Danica Patrick is only in the Sprint Cup because Go Daddy pushed NASCAR into excepting Danica Patrick into the Sprint Cup because she is a woman, and her name is Danica Patrick. Tony Stewart said back in August (in an interview) that he is thrilled with her performance. He said that he is giving her worse cars then his on purpose. In other words his theory is that you don't give a rookie at tennis a $500 tennis racket. So he said that with the level of car that she has, she is doing great. He said that he didn't expect her to do that well. When Kyle Petty was bad mouthing Danica, (two weeks ago) Tony Stewart got right in their and defended her, saying that she has driven much better then he ever did in his whole career. In fact Stewart is giving her better cars each week. At Atlanta Danica got a top 25 finish and her car should have only been able to get like 35th. So give her credit. She is a fairly good/ but in-experienced driver.
