The Whelen Modified Tour will race at Daytona International Speedway as well as the K&N Pro Series. The Whelen Series race just before the K&N Pro Series. Both races will consist of 150 laps, (60 miles) and will be raced on a 0.4 mile short track oval on Daytona's backstretch. This race will not count for points for the Whelen Series, (this race does count for points in the K&N Pro Series) and is more or less a "Daytona 500" for both series. This race is also a combination race for the Whelen Series; meaning that the Whelen Modified Tour will also race with the Whelen Southern Modified Tour. This race is always an exciting race for both Series, and should be a close race as well.
